Cigarette production grows 2.4 times in Azerbaijan

From January through February 2021, the making of fermented tobacco products in Azerbaijan decreased by 50%, compared to the same period last year.

Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee, that Azerbaijan produced 214 tons of tobacco goods in the first two months of 2021.

According to the committee, last year $2.334 billion pieces of cigarettes were produced in Azerbaijan, which is 2.4 times more than a year earlier.
