Azerbaijan's fruit, vegetable imports from Türkiye up over 8%

In January-April of 2026, Azerbaijan imported fruits and vegetables worth approximately $6.9 million from Türkiye, representing an 8.2% increase year-on-year, Report informs, referring to the Türkiye Exporters Assembly.
In April alone, Türkiye exported almost $2.4 million worth of fruits and vegetables to Azerbaijan, which is 23.7% more than a year earlier.
Overall, Türkiye's fruit and vegetable exports in the four‑month period dropped by 4.8% YoY to $790 million, while in April, the exports rose by 6.3% to $210 million.
The largest importers of Turkish fruits and vegetables were the United States ($118 million, down 8.6% YoY), Germany ($102 million, down 10.9% YoY), and the Netherlands ($42 million, down 22.8% YoY).
