Azerbaijan increases potato supplies from Pakistan 337 times

In the first four months of this year, Azerbaijan imported 86,912 tons (+2.2%) of potatoes (excluding seed potatoes) worth $ 22.637 million (+10.5%), Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, 31,401 tons (-2.5 times) worth $ 7.765 million (-2.4 times) were imported from Iran, 30,521 tons (+6.4 times) worth $ 7.655 million (+6.4 times) from Turkiye, 16,518 tons (+337 times) worth $ 4.956 million (+338 times) from Pakistan, 5,581 tons (+5.9 times) worth $ 1.397 million (+6 times) from Georgia, 2,824 tons worth $ 847,350 from Ukraine (A year ago, Azerbaijan did not import potatoes from Ukraine), and 65.1 tons (-2.5%) worth $16,270 (+1.6%) from Russia.

Over the four months, Azerbaijan exported 4,552 tons (-11.3%) of potatoes worth $ 2.104 million (-2.3%).

Russia imported 4,448 tons (-1.6%) worth $ 2.065 million (4.8%) and Belarus 57.85 tons (-69.9%) worth $ 26,930 (-45.3%) from Azerbaijan.
