Azerbaijan increases cost of importing grain, bean products from Turkiye by 3-fold

In January-August of this year, Azerbaijan imported $102,409 million (+33%) worth of grain, legumes, oilseeds, and their products from Turkiye, Report informs, citing the Turkish Exporters' Assembly.
In August alone, Turkiye exported $21,909 million worth of grains, legumes, oilseeds, and their products to Azerbaijan, which is 2.8 times or 183.1% more than the previous year.
In the first eight months of 2022, the value of Turkiye's total exports of grain, legumes, oilseeds, and their products increased by 30.3% year-on-year to $7.248 billion and in August by 28.1% to $0.999 billion.
