WTO: Tourism won't recover sooner than 2023

Global tourism is likely to return to pre-pandemic levels by 2023 at the earliest, the Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Zurab Pololikashvili said, Report informs via TASS.
According to Pololikashvili, most significant tourism recovery is in Southern Europe, Central America and the Caribbean.
“About half of experts (45%) believe that international tourism will return to the 2019 levels in 2024 or later, and 43% believe that it will be restored in 2023,” he said.
