Number of trips from Azerbaijan to Georgia dropped dramatically in 2021

Last year, 82,718 people visited Georgia from Azerbaijan, according to the report of the National Tourism Administration of Georgia, the Georgian Bureau of Report informs.
According to the document, this is 212,414 people, or 72% less than in 2020.
In the reporting year, Azerbaijan took the 7th place in the top ten countries, from where Georgia received the highest number of guests.
The number of foreign visitors who arrived in Georgia in 2021 increased by 7.7% and amounted to 1.881 million people.
