Azerbaijan Tourism Board opens office in Beijing

The Azerbaijan Tourism Board has opened a representative office in Beijing, the State Tourism Agency told Report.
The office aims to deepen cooperation with China's tourism sector, raise awareness of Azerbaijan's tourism potential, and expand promotional efforts in the Chinese market.
The opening was attended by Fuad Nagiyev, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency; Teymur Nadiroglu, Azerbaijan's Trade Representative in China; Florian Sengstschmid, Chairman of the Beijing Tourism Bureau; and representatives from the tourism industry and media in both countries.
Nagiyev emphasized that the opening of the representative office in Beijing reflects the strategic importance of the Chinese market for Azerbaijan. He noted that cooperation in tourism has been developing dynamically in recent years, with visa-free travel and direct flights accelerating this process.
During the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation took part in the Envision 2026 Global Conference, organized by Trip.com Group, and was awarded the Strategic Partner of the Year award.
