Azerbaijan to spend nearly AZN 59M from state budget on tourism

Next year, 58.6 million manats will be allocated from Azerbaijan’s state budget for the development of tourism infrastructure in the country and the formation of tourism services that meet international standards, Report informs.
This issue is reflected in the state budget bill for 2022.
According to the document, 2.5 million manats will be directed to activities in the field of culture, art, information, physical culture and spheres that do not belong to other categories, and 56.1 million manats - to economic activity. In particular, Shahdag Tourism Center CJSC owned by the State Tourism Agency will receive 12 million manats from the budget to cover expenses.
