Ukrainian Embassy in Azerbaijan thanks for assistance to children on International Charity Day

On the International Charity Day, the Embassy of Ukraine in Azerbaijan expressed sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed and donated items for Ukrainian children.

According to Report, Ambassador of Ukraine to Baku Yuriy Husyev said in a post on Facebook that in August, warm clothing, footwear, and school supplies were collected, sorted, and prepared for shipment to Ukraine.

"These items will be delivered to children at the Sumy Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation, as well as to children from families of internally displaced persons from Bakhmut, Pokrovsk, Myrhorod, Kherson, and Sumy regions who were forced to leave their homes due to Russian aggression," the ambassador said.

Husyev added that all collected items will be sent to Ukraine in the near future.

"Together, we perform good deeds and support those who need it most," he concluded.
