MP warns of dangerous tendency in gender ratio among infants in Azerbaijan

Gender ratios among infants in Azerbaijan are becoming precarious, the chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Bahar Muradova said at today's meeting of the parliament, Report informs.
According to her, Azerbaijan ranks world's second in terms of gender ratio: "Violations of biological norms are accelerating. The biological standard is violated by the sex ratio with 100 girls and 114 boys."
