Azerbaijan sees population growth

The demographic situation in Azerbaijan has been announced, as Report has found out from the State Statistics Committee, since the outset of the year, the population of the country has increased by 28,247 people or by 0.3% and as of October 1 amounted to 10,147,380 people.
Some 53% of the population are urban dwellers, 47% are rural dwellers, 49.9% are males and 50.1% are females.
