Average salary in Azerbaijan to reach 1,411 manats by 2029

The average monthly salary in Azerbaijan is projected to rise to 1,411 manats ($830) by 2029, according to the Ministry of Finance, Report informs.

Forecasts indicate that the average salary will be:

• 1,170 manats ($687)in 2026

• 1,246 manats ($732) in 2027

• 1,327 manats ($780) in 2028

This represents a 20.6% increase in nominal average salaries over the 2026–2029 period.

As of August 1, 2025, the nominal average monthly salary in Azerbaijan stands at 1,098 manats ($646), which is 9.5% higher than the same period last year.
