Zelenskyy enacts sanctions targeting Russian economy

Two decrees signed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy have enacted a decision by the country's National Security and Defense Council on synchronizing sanctions with European Union (EU) decisions.
Report informs, citing the press service of the head of state.
"The synchronization of European Union sanctions under the 20th package covers 120 individuals and entities and introduces economic sanctions targeting key sectors of the Russian economy. Some of them are already under Ukrainian sanctions. Today's decision concerns 16 more Russian citizens and 31 companies from Russia, Belarus, the UAE, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan," the statement said.
It also covers Ukrainian territories under Russian control.
