Zelenskyy bans import of books from Russia and Belarus to Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law banning the import and distribution of books from Russia and Belarus in Ukraine, Report informs.
Zelenskyy said that the text of the law has been sent to the appropriate institutions of the European Union for further assessment of whether it can affect the fulfillment of obligations in terms of the protection of the rights of national minorities, especially linguistic rights.
According to information, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the corresponding law on June 19, 2022.
