Cooperation between Türkiye and Azerbaijan has turned into a powerful model contributing to peace, security, and stability across a wide geography, Türkiye's Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu said at an event dedicated to May 28 – Azerbaijan"s Independence Day, held at the National Congress Center in Ankara.

According to Report, the minister noted that Azerbaijan and Türkiye are united not only by political and economic relations but also by a shared cultural heritage, which serves as the most valuable asset transmitting fraternal ties between the two countries from generation to generation.

"Today, Türkiye–Azerbaijan relations have turned into a model of solidarity rarely seen in the world. Drawing strength from the past, we will continue moving into the future with broader goals and more determined steps," Uraloğlu said.

The minister emphasized that the shared will and forward-looking approach of Türkiye and Azerbaijan in the field of transport make a significant contribution to regional development:

"Thanks to the shared vision put forward under the leadership of our presidents, we will achieve our goals in the shortest possible time. Strengthening joint projects and efforts aimed at the implementation of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route is extremely important for transport and integration across the area from the Caspian Sea to Europe.

Today, cooperation between Türkiye and Azerbaijan has turned into a powerful model contributing to peace, security, and stability across a wide geography. We act shoulder to shoulder on international platforms, providing strong and sincere support to each other in achieving just goals. Once again, we express confidence that the peace and normalization processes we are firmly continuing in our region will bring significant benefits to stability and prosperity across a wider geographic area," Abdulkadir Uraloğlu added.
