Ukrainian consul detained in Russia

Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) has detained Alexander Sosonyuk, consul general of the Ukrainian Consulate General in St. Petersburg.
Report informs, citing RIA Novosti, that the Ukrainian diplomat is suspected of receiving confidential information from a Russian citizen.
According to the FSB, the diplomat will be treated under international law.
