Turkmenistan to establish polyvinyl acetate plant

The construction of a gas chemical plant for the production of polyvinyl acetate will begin in Turkmenistan's Dashoguz province, Report informs via Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
Polyvinyl acetate is mainly used in the production of polyvinyl acetate adhesive (PVA). Also, acrylic and water-based paints are made on its basis. It is also used for the manufacture of polyvinyl alcohol.
The Turkmengaz State Concern has announced an international tender for the design and construction of the plant on a turnkey basis with direct investments under the condition of production sharing per the Law of Turkmenistan "On Hydrocarbon Resources."
