Turkish parliament to discuss Sweden’s NATO membership

The submission of Sweden's application for NATO accession to the Turkish parliament for discussion and approval depends on the concrete steps taken by official Stockholm to resolve the issues of concern to Ankara, Numan Kurtulmus, the President of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, told A-Haber, Report informs.
"Sweden is taking steps that we can consider positive. However, our Ministry of Foreign Affairs and our government will decide whether this is enough," he said.
The speaker of the Turkish parliament noted that holding of an action by the members of terrorist organiztions 150 meters away from of the building where the parliamentarians of the two countries are negotiating is unacceptable for Ankara.
