Turkey detains 9 foreigners suspected of having links with terrorists

Nine foreigners have been detained in Turkey as part of an operation to arrest persons involved in the activities of the Islamic State (IS) extremist group, Report informs citing Turkish media outlets.
The raids were carried out in 11 districts of Istanbul.
The country’s law enforcement authorities found that these individuals had previously taken part in various armed conflicts and had ties with IS, as well as with the Al-Qaeda terrorist group.
