Timeframe for completion of Turkish troops’ evacuation from Afghanistan revealed

The plane evacuating Turkish troops from Afghanistan took off from Kabul, Turkish Presidential spokesperson Ibrahim Kalin said, Report informs.
The evacuation of Turkish military personnel may be completed within 24 or 36 hours, he noted.
Kalin said that Turkey will continue its work at the Kabul airport: “Our civilian specialists can provide support to the airport. Negotiations on this matter continue,” the spokesperson added.
The Turkish military has been serving in Afghanistan since 2002.
