CIS leaders sign 19 documents in Dushanbe

Following the summit in Tajikistan, CIS leaders signed 19 documents, Report informs referring to Tajik media.

The documents signed included the Program for Cooperation between CIS Member States in Combating Terrorism and Extremism for 2026-2028, the Program for Strengthening Border Security at External Borders for 2026-2030, a document on cooperation in combating transnational crime, a Declaration on Cooperation in Ensuring Regional Energy Security, and others.

The Summit of the CIS Heads of State has started in Dushanbe.

According to Report, the meeting began with a photo ceremony.

The event is being held in a closed format.

The leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan are taking part in the meeting.
