Vazgen Manukyan, the sole candidate for the post of Prime Minister of the Salvation of the Motherland Movement, created by the Armenian opposition, was summoned to the Armenian Investigative Committee on March 4.
Report informs, citing Lragir, that he is accused of "seizing power," "violating the territorial integrity of the country," and calling for a "change in the constitutional order" by force.
Manukyan is accused of calling for a coup d'etat during a rally on February 12-20 demanding the resignation of PM Nikol Pashinyan.
The Armenian Investigative Committee released Vazgen Manukyan on the condition that he does not leave the country.
