Sahiba Gafarova: Azerbaijan, Georgia always supported each other

Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, has met with Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Gafarova, the Georgian bureau of Report informs.
Georgian-Azerbaijani partnership and the importance of regional projects were discussed at the meeting.
Gafarova noted that Azerbaijan and Georgia are not only neighbors, but also countries linked by centuries-old friendship: “We have always supported each other.”
The speaker of the parliament noted that Azerbaijan and Georgia are strategic partners and allies and play an important role in the energy and transport security of Europe.
