Russian not planning to buy "Bayraktar"

"Russia is not planning to purchase Bayraktar attack drones (UAVs) from Turkey," Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) of Russia stated, Report informs, citing Interfax.
"Russia is not currently considering the purchase of Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicles from Turkey, as it has its own Orion-class UAVs, which are supplied both to the Russian Armed Forces and for export," Valeria Reshetnikova, a spokeswoman for the FSMTC, told the agency.
On April 20, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Haberturk that the deal on the sale of combat drones to Ukraine is not directed against Russia. Moreover, he noted that Ankara was ready to discuss the supply of Turkish defense products to Moscow.
