Russian FM to meet with ambassadors of CIS countries

On January 19, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will meet with the ambassadors of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) accredited in the Russian Federation, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova told journalists at a briefing, Report informs.
The meeting will also be attended by Chairman of the Executive Committee, Executive Secretary of the CIS Sergei Lebedev.
According to Zakharova, during the event, it is planned to sum up the joint work within this organization over the past year, to discuss key areas of cooperation for the future.
"The participants, by tradition, will exchange views on topical issues of the international and regional agenda," Zakharova added.
