Russia sees highest COVID incidence since early February

Over the past day, medical experts recorded 14,723 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, Report informs referring to Russian media.
The total number of registered cases in the country since the pandemic onset has reached 5,208,687.
Currently, 280,922 Russians are undergoing treatment to beat the viral disease.
To date, a total of 126,430 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 357 deaths seen over the past day. The number of recoveries is 4,801,335.
More than 176.4 million people globally have contracted the virus since the onset of the pandemic. The deadly pathogen has claimed over 3.81 million lives, though unable to cope with 160.4 million patients, who managed to recover.
