Russia: Over 29 thousand test positive for COVID-19 per day

Russia has reported 29,258 new COVID-19 cases over the past day, Report states, citing RIA Novosti.
According to the operational headquarters for combating the coronavirus spread, 15.6 percent of the patients had no symptoms, 567 people fell victim to the virus, while 28,185 were discharged from hospitals. So far, 2,426,43. coronavirus patients have recovered in the country.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province and has spread to more than 200 countries and territories since then.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
