Russia loses over 1,400 officers in Ukraine

During the 8 months of the war, Russia lost more than 1,400 officers, including 12 generals, Report informs, citing the Centre for Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"1,402 Russian officers were killed in Ukraine (about 5.7 people per day). Moreover, high-ranking officers make up 26% of the total," said StratCom.
Since the beginning of the war, 12 generals (one army general, one colonel-general, two lieutenant generals, eight major-generals), 44 colonels, 98 lieutenant-colonels, 193 majors, 279 captains, 471 first lieutenants, 235 lieutenants, and 72 other ranks neutralized.
