Putin-Merkel talks get underway in Moscow

The talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel have kicked off in the Kremlin, Report informs, citing TASS.
The Kremlin's press service said earlier that the Russian and German leaders plan to discuss the state and prospects of the development of bilateral cooperation in various spheres and view several pressing international and regional issues, including the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, the conflict in eastern Ukraine, the situation around Belarus and the state of affairs in Afghanistan.
