President of Kyrgyzstan to visit New York

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov will attend the 80th anniversary session of the UN General Assembly in New York from September 22 to 25, according to Sagynbek Abdumutalip, head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Kyrgyz Presidential Administration, Report informs via local media outlets.

During the visit, Japarov will deliver a speech at the UN Security Council's open discussions themed "Artificial Intelligence: International Security and Peace" and at a high-level special event on climate change.

Additionally, within the framework of the General Assembly, the Kyrgyz President is scheduled to have bilateral meetings with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, as well as with heads of state and delegations from the US, European, Asian, and African countries.
