Polish PM: Poland is  ready to give F-16s to Ukraine under NATO’s coordination

Poland is ready to provide F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine under the coordination of NATO, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said, Report informs via UNIAN.

According to him, any air force can do this in coordination with NATO countries, as was the case with the supply of MiGs a few months ago: “Here, too, we will act in full coordination.”

It was reported that the Ukrainian authorities plan to purchase 24 fighter jets from international allies within the first phase of the new military assistance. According to the information, US officials are trying to transfer F-16 fighters to Kyiv. The Armed Forces of Ukraine said they need about 180 such jets. Germany excludes the supply of fighter jets. Great Britain can hand over fighters if Russia withdraws troops.
