Peskov: Russia did not seek aid from China for operation in Ukraine

Moscow has not asked Beijing for help in launching a special military operation in Ukraine, Russian President's Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in response to a question over an article published in the Financial Times about Russia's request for military assistance from China, Report informs.
He said that the article does not reflect reality.
Peskov noted that there is no need to accept the newspaper material as a primary source:
"This was reported by various newspapers. Now newspapers write a lot. Therefore, these writings should not be taken as a primary source."
