Pashinyan’s party wins early elections to Armenian parliament

The party of acting Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan ‘Civil Contract’ fell 0.08 percent short of forming the government alone in the early parliamentary elections, receiving 53.92 percent of the votes (687,251), according to the Central Election Commission (CEC), after processing data of all 2,008 polling stations, Report informs.
The bloc of ex-president Robert Kocharyan ‘Armenia’ got second place with 21.04 percent of the votes (268,165).
Kocharyan by the bloc of ex-President Serzh Sargsyan ‘I Have Honor’ (5.23 percent of the votes) and Gagik Tsarukyan’s party ‘Prosperous Armenia’ (3.96 percent).
