Pashinyan, Raisi discuss situation along Armenian-Azerbaijani border in phone call

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi had a telephone conversation.
Report informs, citing Armenpress, that the head of the government of Armenia briefed Raisi about the situation at the border.
President Raisi said that a new war in the South Caucasus region is unacceptable and that Iran is carefully monitoring the course of events.
He stressed that all conflicts in the region should be resolved peacefully, and Iran's position on the territorial integrity of states is known to everyone.
Raisi emphasized that his country is ready to support the establishment of peace in the region and added that the issue of Armenia's security is vital for Iran.
