New school year starts online in Georgia

The 2021-2022 academic year has started online in Georgian secondary and higher schools due to the coronavirus pandemic, Report informs.
Classes will be provided online in public and private educational institutions until October 4.
According to the decision of the Georgian Ministry of Education and Science, students admitted to the first grade will start attending classes on October 4. This decision covers only the cities and villages with a coronavirus infection rate of less than 4%.
As for kindergartens, they will remain closed until October 4.
