On March 18 - the 23rd day of the war in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov left for China, but the plane returned before reaching Beijing, Report informs, citing Bild.
According to the German newspaper, Lavrov's plane returned after traveling 2,800 kilometers.
There are two possible reasons for this. The first is the unwillingness of the Beijing authorities to receive Lavrov, and the second is the urgent recall of the Minister by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In recent days, it has been reported that Russia is seeking military and economic assistance from China.
