The Kremlin has refrained from commenting on a potential meeting between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in China, noting that the schedule of Putin’s bilateral meetings is still being finalized.
Report informs via Interfax that Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said preparations are underway to coordinate the president’s agenda:
“We are currently working on the schedule of bilateral meetings, which must be integrated into the events organized by our Chinese colleagues. Once the schedule is finalized, we will provide an update,” Peskov said.
