Kazakh president lifts state of emergency in several regions

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has lifted the state of emergency in a number of regions, Report informs referring to Zakon.kz.
“In accordance with article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan ‘On the state of emergency,’ from 7:00 (GMT+5) on January 13, 2022, the state of emergency is cancelled within the boundaries of the West Kazakhstan region, introduced by the decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 5, 2022 No. 740 ‘On the introduction of a state of emergency in West Kazakhstan region’,” reads the corresponding decree.
Also, the state of emergency was canceled from January 13 in Pavlodar and North Kazakhstan regions.
