Iranian and US delegations arrive in Islamabad

An Iranian delegation led by the Speaker of Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has arrived in the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad, for negotiations with the United States.
According to Report, citing the Fars News Agency, the delegation includes members of committees on security, politics, defense, economy, and law.
Ghalibaf is accompanied by Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Akbar Ahmadian, and Central Bank Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati.
US Vice President JD Vance, Special Envoy of President Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner have arrived in Islamabad as well.
"Negotiations will begin if the opposing side accepts Iran's preliminary conditions," the report said.
