Hulusi Akar discusses grain shipment with ministers of defense and infrastructure of Ukraine

The Minister of National Defense of Turkiye, Hulusi Akar, spoke by phone with his Ukrainian counterpart Oleksii Reznikov, as well as the Minister of Infrastructure of this country, Oleksandr Kubrakov.
Report informs, citing the Ministry of National Defense of Turkiye, that they discussed the issue of grain export.
Akar stressed the need for this process to occur regardless of the war.
The Minister of National Defense of Turkiye said that Turkiye would continue its initiatives to ensure regional peace:
"So far, about 10 million tons of grain have been exported to the world market. This has contributed significantly to the elimination of the global food crisis."
