Georgian parliament speaker to lead friendship group with Azerbaijan

The new speaker of the Georgian parliament, Kakha Kuchava, will head a group of friendship with Azerbaijan, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said at a meeting with Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Gafarova, the Georgian bureau of Report informs.
He said that there is a very good basis for cooperation between the friendship groups of the legislative bodies of both countries.
The prime minister invited Gafarova to visit Georgia: “I am waiting for you in Tbilisi.”
Kuchava was elected speaker on April 27. Previously, he served as vice speaker and headed the friendship group with Azerbaijan.
