Georgian FM: "There is no alternative to peace in the region"

"Georgia is committed to establishing peace and dialogue in the region. So there is no alternative to peace in the region," Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili said at a joint briefing with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu, Report informs.
He said that he discussed security issues in the region and the processes taking place in the South Caucasus in the meeting with the Turkish Foreign Minister: "I am sure that with joint efforts, we can overcome the current challenges. Further deepening of cooperation can create a foundation for regional stability and development."
