Georgia developing new app with QR code for tourists

A new application is being developed in Georgia to determine the status of a tourist, the Minister of Health of the country Ekaterine Tikaradze said, the Georgian bureau of Report informs.
She said that using the QR code, it will be possible to obtain information in the application on if the visitor has been tested against COVID in the last 72 hours, whether he or she has been infected with the coronavirus, and whether he or she received both doses of the vaccine. T
The minister noted that the application will become a good tool for the private sector as well.
