F-5 training fighter crashes in Turkiye

The F-5 training fighter belonging to the Turkish Stars of the Armed Forces crashed near the prison in Konya, Ministry of National Defense of Turkiye said, according to Report.

The plane's engine stopped and crashed at the military training base in Tatlicak, Karatay district of Konya.

The crash was caused by a bird caught in the engine of the aircraft.

The pilot ejected and survived.
