Extraordinary meeting of Georgian parliament starts, opposition expelled from hall

The extraordinary meeting of the Georgian parliament, scheduled for 12:00 today, began three hours later.
According to the local Bureau of Report, the reason was a confrontation in the meeting hall of the legislative building.
During the tensions, deputies from opposition parties took the speaker's seat and demanded the government's resignation.
Some members of the opposition were expelled from the hall.
Eighty-five deputies are taking part in the meeting.
