European Commission approves proposed sanctions on sale of Russian diamonds

The European Commission has approved the proposal of the EU member states to ban the sale of Russian diamonds, Report informs, citing the France-Presse agency.
According to information, it is planned to impose sanctions on purchases from January 1, 2024, and on third countries that process Russian diamonds from September 1 of the same year.
