Erdogan signs order appointing special representative of Turkey to Armenia

Turkey has officially confirmed Ambassador Serdar Kilic as a special envoy to Armenia, Report informs, citing Resmi Gazete.
The order was signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Serdar Kilic was Turkey's ambassador to the United States. The purpose of his appointment as Ankara's special representative to Yerevan is to normalize relations between Turkey and Armenia. The first meeting of the special envoys will be held this month.
