Erdogan: Multidimensional approach needed to strengthen regional peace

The steps taken for regional peace must be multifaceted, reads an article by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan titled "A Common Path to Peace and Justice" published in the leading Chinese newspaper People's Daily, Report informs via TRT.

The Turkish President emphasized that economic ties, infrastructure projects, energy cooperation and cultural exchanges are institutional factors that strengthen trust: "Türkiye will continue to act as an actor that strengthens global stability, increases the potential for humanitarian aid and offers solutions on multilateral platforms, implementing projects in various regions."

Having announced his intention to meet with President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping during his visit to China, Erdogan expressed hope that this meeting will contribute to strengthening mutual trust and deepening bilateral relations.

"As Türkiye, relying on the strength and experience of the past, we shape the present and build a future based on peace, security and cooperation. Each step opens new horizons, starting from our region and spreading to the entire world. We will continue to shoulder our responsibilities with the intention of keeping the channels of dialogue open and resolving crises. We believe that uniting the international community around a common consciousness and common interests, with the People's Republic of China at the forefront, will open the door to a more just and prosperous world."
