Erdogan calls wildfires international threat

Wildfires have become an international threat, comparable to the coronavirus pandemic and terrorism, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, Report informs.
“Forest fires are an international threat comparable to the COVID pandemic. It can even be compared to the threat of terrorism,” Erdogan said in an interview with A Haber TV channel.
He noted that the whole world is facing the threat of wildfires, forests are burning in the US, Canada, Russia, Spain, Italy, African countries, adding that this situation is caused by climatic conditions.
