Erdogan: Ankara closely following Baku-Yerevan peace talks

Türkiye is closely following the peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan said during a telephone conversation with his Emirati counterpart Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Report informs.
Erdogan stressed that Ankara has taken an important step 'to completely eliminate terrorism' from the agenda of both Türkiye and the entire region.
Al Nahyan said that this process will make a significant contribution to the security of the region and wished for its successful completion.
The Turkish leader noted that his country is closely following the peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia, which began in Abu Dhabi, and will continue to support efforts to restore calm in the South Caucasus.
Erdogan also noted that the strategic partnership between Türkiye and the UAE is showing positive results in all areas, and that the two countries have great potential in many areas, in particular the defense industry and new technologies.
